Our food programs are guided by the principles of Canada’s Food Guide, emphasizing balanced meals, variety, and nutritional value. We work in collaboration with local food banks and community partners to distribute nutritious food that supports physical health, energy, and overall wellness.
Not Alone recognizes that health and nutrition needs vary based on age, ability, culture, and health conditions. We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions, cultural food preferences, and individual needs, particularly for seniors, persons with disabilities, children and youth, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
In addition to food distribution, we promote nutrition awareness and healthy living through community engagement, education, and supportive programming. By reducing barriers to healthy food and fostering inclusive access to nutrition supports, Not Alone helps improve health outcomes and supports long-term community well-being.
